Abode Dance Academy offers a variety of dance classes for all ages and abilities, from tiny tots and young adults to beginners and professional-level students. Established in 2022 (formerly Encore Dance Studio), our approach has never wavered. We provide a place of learning excellence that is supportive and positive so our students’ love of dance can flourish and enrich their whole lives. Foundational Twirl Program
Ages 2-6
Twirl is a fun & fanciful approach to dance class that brings out your petite dancer’s inner princess and imagination. This engaging program teaches your dancer age appropriate dance basics and proper terminology in a creative, merry, and sparkle filled environment. Your dancer will love the imaginative activities and will look forward to coming to class all year long.
Progressive Studio-Level Program
Ages 6-18
We provide a unique dance experience by putting studio-level dancers ages 6 and up and company dancers in technique classes together based on their skill level rather than grouping our classes by age. Our philosophy is that dancers with the same skill levels will progress with more consistency. Each dancer is challenged but not overwhelmed as they work to reach their goals.
Aspire Company
Aspire Company is our competition team that competes at both regional and national competitions. Company is for dancers that are ready to make a larger commitment to dance. Being a part of a company will take your dancer’s training to the next level. Our company teams are based off of skill level. Dancers have the opportunity to participate in group dances, solos, duos, and trios in all different styles. Our company teams are for dancers ages 4.5 and up. Dancers must audition for Aspire company.
