Olivia was borned and raised in Cincinnati, OH. She started dancing at the age of 3 recreationally. When she was 7 she started to dance competitively, and continued through college. In high school she was a Senior Soloist in Exhale Dance Tribe, a jazz and contemporary dance company. She attended many summer intensives through the years including Nashville Ballet, Hubbard Street, NYC Movement Intensive, and Lachey Arts Musical Theatre camp. She attended the local performing arts school, Cincinnati’s School for Creative & Performing Arts, from grades 7-12 where she majored in dance and was a part of the dance ensemble where they would annually perform the Nutcracker as well as other full length ballets in the spring including; Swan Lake, Dracula, Jungle Book, and Giselle.
After graduating high school Olivia attended the Florida State University where she majored in Psychology and Minored in Criminology. While in college she was on the nationally ranked club dance team, Seminole Dance Force. Seminole Dance Force is a completely student run team and attends NDA nationals in Daytona Beach, Fl in April. In her time on the team they were ranked 3rd & 5th in Hip Hop and 9th & 6th in Jazz. Her junior year she was elected Jr. Co Captain by her peers and Captain her senior year. While in school full time she also taught dance classes at a studio where she was able to assist the owner with choreography. She taught ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. She loves teaching and is very excited for her first season at Abode Dance Academy.
