As an Arizona native, Kylie began dancing at a young age. She quickly took to a love for the sport and began competing and performing all over the country. With over 23 years of dance and performance experience, Kylie is well versed in all areas of dance and loves giving back an even better dance experience to dancers at all ages.
Kylie has taught dance and choreographed for various locations across the country. At 18 she became Assistant Theatre Director for her local school district before temporarily relocating to Orlando, Florida. Once returning to Arizona, she joined as a dance instructor and choreographer at Elite Dance Academy, where she taught ages 2.5-16, choreographed multiple winning competitive dance routines for ages 7-16, and won various judges awards for her choreography at all levels. After bringing her passion for dance and theatre to elementary, middle, and high school students of the Half Hollow Hills School District during a short stay in New York, Kylie finally relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina where she now resides. Once in Charlotte, Kylie quickly became the assistant director and company director at Abode Dance Academy, where she continues to share her knowledge and passion with dance students of all ages, with an emphasis on ages 6-17.
Kylie is proud to not only give her students an exciting, educational, and most of all fun time dancing, but also to set her dancers up for a successful competition experience. Her choreography exemplifies her passion for the art and remains fresh year-after-year to ensure both the dancer and the judges have the best experience possible. While winning is not everything to Kylie, she is honored to continue to watch her students receive top marks, judges awards, and feedback at each competition.
Dance is built into Kylie’s DNA. Into the future, Kylie remains steadfast in continuing to bring that love for all facets of the art to all involved—the dancer, parent, judge, and viewer alike. She believes in all dancer’s abilities to love, thrive, and succeed in the art that has brought so much to her life.
