It’s our absolute pleasure to warmly welcome you into our family at Abode Dance Academy. Abode Dances Academy is one of the leading dance institutions in Fort Mill. At our academy, we aim to encourage a widespread love of dance, welcoming children who can’t help but feel the rhythm! Rebranded in 2022, we aim to create a positive, welcoming environment which is encouraging for all. Abode Dance Academy accepts enrollment all year long!

New students are invited to get started with a free trial class, view our class programs below and contact us at 980-705-0750 to discuss any questions you may have. Alternatively, click on the program you’re interested in to sign up online.

Add the total hours of technique classes and company rehearsals your dancer does in a week and slide over for the monthly tuition.

Recital Costume Fees
$140
  • All performing classes will have an additional $140 fee (per performing class) due November 1st to cover your dancer’s costume, accessories, garment bag/hanger, tights, and digital recording of the recital performance. Deposits towards the recital costume fee is accepted anytime before this date.
Registration Fee
$65
  • Our annual registration fee is $65. The registration fee and the first month of tuition must be paid at registration to save your dancer’s spot in the class. Abode will process the payment for you when processing your registration

Frequently Asked Questions

ADA requires a dress code. In order for our dancers to be successful, dancers shall come to each class prepared with the appropriate dancewear and dance shoes. Hair should be secured in such a manner as to not interfere with the dancer’s ability to practice. Proper dress code ensures safety for the dancer and the instructor when spotting and allows the instructor to see body alignment to give corrections. Please ensure all parts of your child’s attire are clearly labeled. Please see our dress code to view the full dress code requirements. 

In order for our dancers to have the best learning experience with no distractions no one is allowed to watch classes. All parents must wait in the waiting areas or outside of the studio until classes have been dismissed. We are proud to offer live video of the classes displayed on the tv in the lobby for our families to view. We have parent participation/viewing day once a year.

We send monthly newsletters and updates via email that is also posted on our Abode Dance Academy band app. Information is also posted on our bulletin board in our lobby. 

If your dancer missed class due to illness or other personal reasons, they will be able to make-up the missed class in a similar class. There will be no discount or refund given for missed classes. There are no make-ups for classes missed when the studio is officially closed for holidays and breaks. All classes missed due to inclement weather can be made up using our current class schedule. Dancers can do make ups in an age appropriate class in any dance style. Makeups can be scheduled through the parent portal.

Reach out to our office staff info@abodedanceacademy.com and they will set up a time for the teacher to speak with you. Please do not try to talk to teachers in between classes because they have back to back classes. All communication must go through the office.

We offer no refunds. Registration fees, tuition fees, costume fees, event fees, recital fees, summer fees, birthday party fees, competition fees, etc. are non-refundable for any reason.

We require a withdrawal form to be completed and submitted by the 15th of the month. Withdrawal forms submitted after the 15th of the month, the family will be responsible for paying next month’s tuition in full. Non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal notice. Families will still be responsible for your regular monthly tuition until the withdrawal form is received. To request a withdrawal form email info@abodedanceacademy.com
